I put the diamond oscillating blade I received today to the test while installing an outlet in the wall of my 1920s house, which had plaster over metal lath embedded in cement over wooden lath. The blade cut through the cement, metal lath and plaster with ease and without any apparent damage. I switched to a carbide wood blade to cut through the wooden lath. While I cannot yet comment on the blade’s longevity, it performed exactly as I needed it to and was worth the investment.

I recently used this blade on hardy plank siding and it did an amazing job. I was worried after reading some negative reviews on other oscillating blades from other manufacturers but Wonderblade blades worked great for me on fiber cement board. I didn’t notice any wear and tear and it’s still in great condition. It’s perfect for notching and trimming. I highly recommend it.

I know some may think it’s a bit more pricey than the basic blades, but the extra cost is worth it. The diamonds on this blade are much more durable and seems to last longer than others I’ve used in the past. I’ve been using it on various projects including cutting through plaster walls and electrical boxes and it has held up extremely well.
